Easy

Mike sighed, "Okay, I get it! I'm sorry! I've been stressed out at work lately; I never meant to stop helping out around the house, and I never meant to suggest that what you do all day is easier than what I do. But you've got to switch our bodies back, Marisa! I've got a huge meeting tomorrow. If you go in my place, you're going to get me fired!"

Separate paths

Curtis gave a desperate look back to his wife, Julia. She wouldn't be walking with him on the nature trail this time around. The day before, on the first full day of their Honeymoon on Hawaii, the young couple had walked the path together. Somewhere along the path, Curtis had found an interesting berry that he was tempted to eat. Julia was hesitant, but Curtis assured her that there were no poison plants native to Hawaii. They each ate some and found themselves instantly changing. Curtis slowly turned into a woman, and at the same time Julia changed into a man. It was fun at first, but after 24 hours, Julia wanted things back to normal. She demanded Curtis travel the trail alone and bring back some berries to fix this mess.

Eager

"There's GOT to be a way to reverse the body swap in here somewhere! We just have got to keep looking, George!" Rachel feverishly looked through the spell book for the third time this week.

"You know, at first I was as eager as you were to get back to my own body," her husband replied, "but I've actually come to enjoy being in your body."

He stretched a leg up and looked over his wife's shoulder. He had always known his wife was flexible, but now that he was the one controlling it, he couldn't help but think it was downright incredibly so!

"I know it's been fun for you, but you won't be so happy when you start getting my period next week!" Rachel shot back.

George's heart sank. "Look faster!" He suggested.

Trash

"You did what!?" Malcolm fumed at his wife.

"I told you. I threw the medallion in the trash." She replied.

"But why!?" He replied putting his hands on his hips.

"I decided it wasn't enough for you to be in my body for a few hours. You needed to learn more of a lesson than that. You're going to have to get used to it, Malcolm. Or should I call you Janet now? You're going to have to get used to being called Janet, you know?"

Lessons

Mary thought she was teaching her husband Ben a lesson by switching bodies with him; Bob decided to teach her a lesson right back. He decided he'd show her that he could not only do all her household chores just as good as she could, but he could do them better -- all while wearing a little something sexy. The turkey he had prepared was way more complicated than her usual dinner, and he knew what he had picked to greet Mary coming home made his body look good.

Kiss

Angela had been going about her daily routine of shopping and cleaning the house when she suddenly found herself in her graying husband's body. She rushed home and was greeted with a kiss by her own body. Angela wondered if she was going crazy, everything seemed to be normal except who she thought she really was. Truthfully, it was just her husband's good acting. Now that he had his wife's body, he wasn't going to do anything to risk it.

Help

Every Saturday morning for the past year, Stephen and Roger had stolen the bodies of their wives, Rebecca and Heidi. The two women had been royally pissed off, but the men would never reveal what they were doing with the time in their wives' bodies. One day, they managed to track down their husbands and were quite surprised to find them doing yoga.

"You didn't notice all this time?" Stephen laughed.

"Didn't you realize how in shape your bodies had gotten over the past year?" Roger chimed in, "We were just doing our part to help you both get back in to shape after giving birth!"

The women felt silly. They had neglected their bodies since giving birth, and their husbands were really only trying to help.

Even better

After the Great Shift, Mark, Gene, and Dave all found themselves in the bodies of their wives. The three men were having trouble coping with the fact that they were all now women and often met to discuss their difficulties.

"Gene, you know that I've always had the hots for your wife, right?" Dave asked.

Gene nodded.

"I mean, now that you're her. You and I could...well, you know?"

Gene snapped back, "Exactly how are you going to have sex with me now that you are in Denise's body?"

"Well, we could always..." Dave proceeded to made a lude gesture.

Mark looked at Dave, "Don't be gross, Dude! I don't think any of us are ready to have sex as women. Except maybe you!"

"My wife and I already have!" Dave replied, "You guys haven't? You're missing out! Let me tell you, if you thought sex as a guy was good, having sex as a woman is even better! So I'm serious, let's..." Dave made the gesture again.

Real

"This isn't real!" Shirley exclaimed reaching her hand up, "This can't possibly be real!"

"Oh, it's real." Neil smiled as he lifted his hand to meet hers, "We've swapped bodies. You've always talked about how curious you were to feel what it was like to be a man. And honestly, I've been a little more than curious about being a woman, so for the next week we'll be in each other's bodies."

Shirley nearly cried, "This is the best anniversary gift ever! Thank you!"

Never expected

"When you wished that I could know what you were feeling with this pregnancy, I guess someone was listening!" Justin huffed from his wife Nancy's body.

"I'm sorry, Honey! It was an idle wish! I never would've expected us to swap bodies!"

"It's okay! Me neither! But it's happened, and now...I think this baby's coming out!"

Justin began to panic. He was going to be the one giving birth to their baby!

Relationships

The Great Shift resulted in more than a few stories of heartbreak. Many people were just unable to handle the changes to their own bodies or changes to those they had committed to, but not all tales were so sad. Mindy and Carl, for instance, stayed together despite them both now being women. It had actually made them closer. They were able to share clothes and understand each other better. Attending a wedding of a friend, they were still the envy of many couples for the strength of their relationship.

Oddness

It had been strange for both Bob and Margaret since they swapped bodies. The married couple wasn't adjusting very well, but neither thought anyone would believe they were stuck in each other's bodies! As a result, they tried their best to go about as usual. Bob walked awkwardly with Margaret's heels. Margaret made Bob's body look like a total geek. Still, despite any oddness, none of their friends noticed anything wrong. The appearance of their bodies were stronger than the appearance of their actions.

Rough week

It had been a rough week since Marcia and Antonio had switched bodies. Despite their deep love for each other, they both had to admit it was pretty tough being stuck in the other's body. Antonio became especially grumpy when he got his first period.

Family Vacation

"Alright, kids, give me a big thumbs up and smile!" Jack told his kids, Samantha and Bryan, as he took a picture with his new digital camera on the first day of their family vacation.

Jack was admiring the crisp photo on the back of the camera when his children started screaming, yelling about being in the wrong bodies. Jack was skeptical and thought his kids must be playing some sort of prank on him. Samantha (in Bryan's body) blamed the new camera, snatched it from her father's hands, and took a photo.

Jack was shocked to find himself in the body of his wife, Sharon.

The family started to fight and flashes went off causing more swaps until the camera smashed on the nearby rocks. Jack's mouth dropped. He was now stuck in his daughter's body. She was in Bryan's body. Bryan was in his mom's body. And Sharon was in Jack's body.
