Having long hair felt really different. Doug has a buzz cut in his old body prior to the Great Shift, so the long flowing hair cascading from his head was a totally different experience for him. He fiddled with it in his hands, played with it, and was quite fascinated by it. Of course, being a woman was also a new and different experience for him, but seeing as how he was currently in a public place, he couldn't exactly play with those differences right now!
I'd be playing with every difference if I had a sexy body like that, public place or not ;) And I wouldn't be on my own either, since many other horny men would find themselves occupying sexy female bodies ;)
