Everything in his power

As far as Robbie was concerned, his mom had brought this upon herself. He hadn't liked a single one of the men she had dated since his dad died some years ago. When she told him that she was getting married, he warned her that he'd do everything in his power to prevent it from happening. She may have loved her son, but she wanted to be happy. However, she also had no clue what sort of power her son really had! Moments before the ceremony, he initiated a body swap with his mom and fled from the church on his bike. He smiled, thinking he foiled her plans to get married. Of course, she planned on going through with the ceremony no matter what body she was in!

Detention

When Derek heard his phone ringing, it took him a while to remember he was carrying a purse. But he managed to get to the call before it went to voicemail.

He saw the called ID, "Hey, Bro, don't stress. I'm almost at the school."

"So the medallion in my room actually worked? This is so freaky, you even SOUND like mom!" Derek's brother Doug said on the other end of the phone.

"Yeah, I put it around my neck and touched one of mom's shirts to it. The next thing you know, I am her. It's totally weird!"

"Yeah, well, the principal is totally freaking out about that prank I played on Mr. Allen, and she isn't calming down until she speaks with mom. You know how mom would get. I'd be grounded for life, but thanks to that medallion, you can come in, and I can get off scott-free!"

"Yeah, yeah, fine, but as soon as we get back home, you are using that thing and changing me back!"

"Actually, there is one catch. It won't work again for twelve hours after it's used."

"You mean I'm stuck with mom's body for another eleven hours? What am I going to do with mom's body for eleven hours!?"

Bright side

Alan woke up and poured his bowl of cereal. He was still tired and hadn't yet realized what had happened to him. As he started to chow down, the realization hit him. He was no longer himself. In fact, he looked like...his mom!? After an initial period of freaking out, he looked at the bright side. At least he wouldn't have to go to school this morning!

Secrets

Rick had to admit that it was a pretty low and selfish move on his part. He had stolen his mother's body, and he left his mom stuck in his. For the months leading up to the wedding, he had feigned being angry to ensure his mom would disinvite him. He had been downright cruel to Evan, his soon-to-be stepdad (and now soon to be husband), but he was hiding a secret. He was secretly gay. He hadn't told any of his college classmates or anyone in his family. But that wasn't even his biggest secret -- having a crush on Evan. He knew stealing his mom's body would be the only way. As he stood in the wedding dress minutes away from the ceremony, he knew this to be true now more than ever.

Breakfast

Ken was a bit of a brat. His mom had hoped as he grew older, he would learn to appreciate how much she did for him, but as he entered his teens, he was just as spoiled as ever. Further, he would often hurl insults at his mom by calling her lazy or slinging hurtful names. Finally, she had enough. As he slept, she placed a curse on him. When Ken woke up, he'd find himself in a very different situation -- inside his mom's body! His first struggle was getting ready in the morning, putting on a bra and selecting an outfit from his mom's clothing was more difficult than he imagined. He walked downstairs to see his mom's schedule pulled up on a laptop. Meanwhile, his mom (now inside of Ken's body) decided to give Ken a hard time by demanding breakfast. Ken just shrugged his shoulders, "Breakfast? I don't know how to make any damn breakfast!"

After a few hours in the pool, Joey was getting frustrated with his mom. She just wasn't getting the hang of this, and she seemed irritable and cranky. However, what he hadn't realized how much more patient he actually was. If he was still in his own body, he would've been bored hours ago.

Like swimming (Part 1)

"I don't get it!" Joey asked the swimming instructor, "Why is Mommy having such a difficult time swimming in my body?"

"The Great Shift was a very strange phenomenon," The swimming instructor explained, "While we are all still who we are, we also have to deal with the limitations or advantages to our new bodies. Your mom is not used to your young body. She also may be struggling with her adult thoughts in an undeveloped mind."

"But I'm in Mommy's body now. It's unfamiliar to me, but I can do so many things I've never done before!"

"Yes, you've gained many advantages to her grown up body and mind. For instance, you may notice that you aren't talking like a child anymore. You can easily pronounce words correctly and have fully control over your movements. A lot of scientists have noticed this about many people falling into their new bodies now that a year has passed since the Shift. Exercises like swimming keep our bodies flexible!"

Charlie and Andy were celebrating their 12th birthday. The two twin brothers were starting to enter a rebellious phase and had made a wish to be in control instead of their parents. A mysterious force overheard the boys' wish and decided to grant it by having them swap bodies with their parents. However, they couldn't both be their father, so Charlie ended up their dad's body and Andy wound up as their mother.

Evil plan

Greg and Christine were freaking out when their parents told them they were going to have another kid! Their parents were way too old! Greg and Christine were already off to college, and now their parents were going to have another child running around? It seemed so surreal to both of them. They needed an evil plan to stop it, and thanks to a bodyswapping spell on the internet, they soon had one! Things went slightly awry when the spell placed Greg in their mom's body and Christine in their dad's body, but it wouldn't deter their plans. The two went to a doctor to demand an abortion, but they were told that their mom was too far along. To make matters worse, they discovered that the bodyswap spell wouldn't reverse when they got home! It look like Greg was going to be the one to give birth to his new sibling!

Family

"Stop pouting, Dad!" Bobby exclaimed, "I don't like being in Mom's body anymore than you like being in mine, but we're going to have to deal with it! If anyone should be pouting, it should be me! I mean, I'm really the child here, no matter what I may look like! You're supposed to be my dad! You're supposed to be helping me through situations like this!"

Family Vacation

"Alright, kids, give me a big thumbs up and smile!" Jack told his kids, Samantha and Bryan, as he took a picture with his new digital camera on the first day of their family vacation.

Jack was admiring the crisp photo on the back of the camera when his children started screaming, yelling about being in the wrong bodies. Jack was skeptical and thought his kids must be playing some sort of prank on him. Samantha (in Bryan's body) blamed the new camera, snatched it from her father's hands, and took a photo.

Jack was shocked to find himself in the body of his wife, Sharon.

The family started to fight and flashes went off causing more swaps until the camera smashed on the nearby rocks. Jack's mouth dropped. He was now stuck in his daughter's body. She was in Bryan's body. Bryan was in his mom's body. And Sharon was in Jack's body.

Responsible

Gretta had given birth to her son sophomore year of high school. In a way, having to deal with the responsibility of a child at such a young age made her feel like she missed out on the end of her childhood. On the other hand, her son matured very quickly to cope with having to aid his young mother. He felt like a child in an adult's body, and she longed for her lost childhood. A passing sprite read their thoughts and thought to grant their desires by switching their bodies. Both seemed surprisingly happy with the switch.
